1. Definitions

For clarity, the following terms have these meanings throughout this document:

  • "Aether Loom", "we", "us", "our" — Aether Loom Sdn. Bhd., a company registered in Malaysia.
  • "You", "Client" — any individual or organisation who uses our website or engages our services.
  • "Services" — the change management advisory services we offer, including the Change Readiness Conversation, Transition Support Engagement, and Change Capability Programme.
  • "Website" — our website at aethery.sbs and all pages within it.
  • "Agreement" — these terms and conditions, together with any service proposal or arrangement letter.
  • "Content" — all text, materials, documents, and outputs produced by Aether Loom as part of a service engagement.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

Our services are intended for business professionals and organisations. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to engage with us directly. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with an engagement.

3. Description of Services

Aether Loom provides advisory services in the area of organisational change management. Our three core arrangements are described on our Solutions page and in any proposal document we provide to you. Each engagement is scoped and agreed in writing before work begins.

Our services are delivered remotely and in-person within Malaysia. Delivery timelines, session structures, and deliverables are set out in the relevant service proposal. We make reasonable efforts to adhere to agreed timelines, and we will communicate promptly if anything changes.

We reserve the right to adjust the way services are delivered if circumstances require it, provided the core scope and deliverables remain as agreed.

4. Your Responsibilities

To allow us to work effectively with you, we ask that you:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when engaging with us
  • Make relevant team members or stakeholders available as agreed
  • Review and provide feedback on materials within agreed timeframes
  • Inform us promptly of any changes that may affect the engagement
  • Use our website only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not infringe on others' rights
  • Not attempt to misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us

Prohibited activities on our website include attempts to disrupt or damage its functionality, scraping content without permission, and using automated tools to access the site in ways not intended for general users.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, design, structure, and methodology references — is owned by Aether Loom or licensed to us. You may view and print content for personal reference only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use website content commercially without our prior written consent.

Deliverables produced specifically for your engagement (such as communication plans or manager toolkits) are licensed to you for internal organisational use once the engagement is fully paid. Aether Loom retains ownership of any underlying frameworks, templates, or methodologies used in producing them.

6. Payment Terms

Service fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are as described in the relevant proposal. Our current published service fees are:

  • Change Readiness Conversation — RM 600
  • Transition Support Engagement — RM 2,550
  • Change Capability Programme — RM 4,450

Payment terms are set out in the service proposal. We typically require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due on completion. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an engagement, please give us as much notice as possible. Deposits are non-refundable where work has already commenced. We will discuss any exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

7. Confidentiality

We understand that engaging with an advisory firm involves sharing sensitive organisational information. We treat everything shared with us during an engagement as confidential. We do not share client information with third parties except where necessary to deliver the service (such as a specialist sub-contractor under an NDA), or where required by law.

We ask that you treat any tools, frameworks, or materials we share with you as confidential to your organisation. They are not to be shared externally or used to develop competing services.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on the basis of our professional experience and judgement. We offer advisory support — the application of our recommendations remains your organisation's responsibility. We do not make representations about specific operational or commercial outcomes.

Our website is provided for informational purposes. We aim to keep content accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is error-free or complete at all times. Nothing on our website constitutes professional legal, financial, or regulated advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Aether Loom's total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or reputational harm.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other matter that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Termination

Either party may bring an engagement to a close by giving reasonable written notice. If you choose to end an engagement early, you remain responsible for fees relating to work already completed. We will invoice for work done to the point of termination.

We reserve the right to decline or end an engagement if the working relationship becomes untenable, or if we are asked to act in a way that conflicts with our professional standards. In such cases, we will communicate our position clearly and promptly.

11. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If a dispute arises, we ask that you contact us first so we can work toward an informal resolution. Most concerns can be resolved through a straightforward conversation.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation before pursuing other legal remedies. The courts of Malaysia will have exclusive jurisdiction over any unresolved disputes.

12. General Provisions

These terms, together with any service proposal, constitute the entire agreement between us. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right at a given time does not waive our ability to enforce it later.

We may update these terms periodically. The current version will always be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
